Arrive morning of 21st by 10.00 a.m. for the welcome and first session at 10.30 a.m.

There will be a final concert starting at 3.00 p.m. on 25th and we expect all will be ready to leave by 5.00 p.m.

Activity:

The week will offer an intensive immersion in all matters of percussion music. Finer details and some music to be studied will be made available in the weeks before the event.

An entirely separate course for
The National Youth French Horn Ensemble will take place at the same time. A brand new work will be rehearsed to take advantage of horns and percussion playing together for the final concert.

Who is this organised by?:

The National Youth Percussion Orchestra is under the administration of the Nicholas Branston Foundation, registered charity number 1140444. Our charitable aims are the furtherance of music education and the support of music therapy. This year, we are also organising the first National Youth French Horn Ensemble course which will run alongside NYPO.

Our patron is Dame Evelyn Glennie.

Cost:

The cost for the NYPO week is £795.00 including all tuition, instrument use, accommodation and catering.

If you do not want to use the course accommodation then the price for the course and catering alone is £595.00
